Also, I thought I would share some very sweet student quotes to brighten your day. These are all 2nd Grade Quotes - some from the past and some present:
Child 1: “You know you can make your own food.”
Child 2: “And you can make your own money, as long as somebody doesn’t find out."
“There are two people helping you. You are helping yourself, and I am helping you.”
“If you are a teacher, do you have to wear glasses?”
“You are singing the cha-cha, but you are doing the Macarena.”
And perhaps my very favorite from an older student who came to sit in my office a few weeks ago, just for a chat:
"Your office is so beautiful. You have so many pretty things to look at. How does a child get in here during the day? …. You are so lucky. This is what I want to do when I grow up. Just sit in a beautiful office and do whatever I want all day.”
Have a wonderful spring weekend!
Lisa

Scrip Update
Hello Villagers,
The Scrip team has started the process of figuring out how much money each family has earned for our school this school year (starting at September 1, 2018). Each family with a child enrolled in Kindergarten through 8th Grade needs to earn $75 in Scrip donations for the school year. We will send out an email via our room parents to you about the information we need from you.
If you want to order plastic gift cards from Shop With Scrip, please place an order by April 5th, so that we receive the cards before spring break. If we have enough card orders to cover the cost of shipping, I will place the order.
If you need to earn your Scrip dollars faster, be sure to buy Scrip Now eCards on Shop With Scrip or Benefit Mobile.
Keep using Amazon Smile for every Amazon purchase.
Thank you!

Yearbook Early Bird Rate - Buy Now!
Lock in the early bird rate of $40 & PAY NOW!
The cutoff date for this rate is Friday, April 12th, 2019.
You may pay by cash, check, or let the office know you want to be billed (cc payments = extra $4 fee).
Because the rate is dependent on how many books will be in the second order, missing out on the first order's "early bird" pricing could mean paying more than twice as much! Get on it.
ALSO - WE NEED YOUR PHOTOS!
Thank you for being prompt in your Yearbook orders!
Yearbook Committee Chair,
Jo

7th & 8th Grade Track & Field Event
Congratulations to our seventh and eighth graders for how hard they worked, competed, pushed themselves, and enjoyed themselves at the Track and Field Meet on Friday!
Aaron distinguished himself by earning two 3rd place medals for himself and for our school: in the 200 meter run, and the long jump!
Our thanks and gratitude go to Ms Parry and Ms Ciana for their leadership, coaching and mentorship!
