Dear Harvest-Faire Go-ers!
We are all incredibly excited for tomorrow!! Thank you to everyone who is working so hard to make this event a huge success. I send added gratitude to
Kari Rahni for organizing everything so professionally. I am personally excited to be in the fairy village and to also join with the Maple Village People again to perform an encore to our Stargazing Concert! I often find that people who come to our Harvest Faire get a really good idea of who we are. This is our time to shine. Please bring friends!
We have a very busy few weeks following Harvest Faire. Many of our events are designed to inform people about our school for possible enrollment, so if you have friends who are interested in a Waldorf education, please let them know about the events listed below. We return to school on November 26th, and have a Walk Through the Classes the very next day.
Saturday, December 1st: 10:00 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.: Open House for potential families. This is
not an Open House to see your own childās work, but rather a time for parents and students to come and tour our site, meet teachers, do activities in each room and learn more about our school. This might also be a great time for Early Childhood families to come and tour the classes to come!
Saturday, December 1st - Belmont Shore Parade!!! We are honored to be walking in the parade this year, and we would love you to join us! Please see information below for instructions and SAVE THIS DATE!!
Tuesday, December 4th - 6:00 - 8:00 p,m.: Annual Explore Waldorf Night. What is Waldorf?? What does it mean for Early Childhood, the Grades and beyond? We will have a panel of teachers, parents, high school students and Waldorf Alumni to share their experiences with you. There is ample time for Q&A. This event is free and open to the public.
(This is an adult-only evening, so please set up childcare).
Friday, December 7th - 9:00 - 10:15 a.m. : Discussion with the Dean. The topic will be
Simplifying the Holiday Season: Finding Peace, Meaning and Sanity! This event is adult only and free to our parents/caregivers. RSVPās are helpful.
So, get your calendars out, and get ready!
I look forward to seeing you tomorrow,
Lisa
