Summer Office Hours
The MVWS office will be open this summer from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on the following dates:
- June 18th - 22nd; 25th - 29th
- July 9th - 13th; 16th - 20th; 23rd - 27th
- August: every Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs
Staffed office dates will be spread out between Alice, Pam, and Lisa, so if you need to meet with a specific administrator we recommend emailing or calling to check their individual schedules.

Dear Maple Village Community,
Our administrative team, teachers and Board have been busy planning for the next school year, and we wanted to give you as much notice as possible about the start of school. Please mark your calendars, and see our yearly calendar above (click for bigger version).
Also, please note that attendance at Orientation is required for at least one parent/caregiver of every student, and that Maple Village will not be providing childcare. Additionally, your child’s current earthquake kit will be returned to you next week, and your child’s new earthquake kit will be collected on your Orientation evening.
8/29 Wednesday: Parent/Toddler, Preschool and Kindergarten Orientation
- 4:45pm - 5:25pm: Check-In at tables in play yard
- 5:30pm - 6:30pm: Group meeting in the Social Hall
- 6:45pm - 8:00pm: Class meetings in classrooms
8/30 Thursday: All Grades Orientation
- 4:45pm - 5:25pm: Check-In at tables in play yard (Grades 1-3)
- 5:30pm - 6:30pm: Grades 1-3 class meetings in classrooms
- 6:15pm - 6:40: Check-In at tables in play yard (Grades 4-8)
- 6:45pm - 7:30pm: Group meeting in the Social Hall
- 7:30pm - 8:30pm: Grades 4-8 class meetings in classrooms
9/3 Monday: Labor Day (no school)
9/4 Tuesday: First Day of School / Bridge Ceremony
- 8:30 Bell for Grades
- 10:00 Kindergarten late start
- 10:00 Sweet Pea Preschool late start (Poppies start Wed.)
