Letter from our Dean
Dear Families,

Last night we had our annual Eurythmy performance off-site for the first time. We stepped it up and rented a public school auditorium, which very much suited us, and it was fabulous! Thank you to Mr. Dupuis for working so beautifully with our children all year and bringing them the joy of Eurythmy. Thank you to the parents for supporting this important piece of curriculum and, of course, to our students
Everyone mark your calendars for our Strings & Chorus Concert on Tuesday (June 5th)!
This is an event open to all families to attend, and we highly encourage you to see what is ahead for your children, even if they are not performing yet. This always proves to be a very moving and impressive night.
The evening performance will be from 6:30 - 7:30.
Call time for Chorus is 5:30 (5th - 8th)
Call time for Strings is 5:50 (3rd - 8th)

Location:
Grace First Presbyterian Church

I look forward to seeing you there and enjoying an evening of orchestra and song.

Warmly,
Lisa

Volunteer Program Instructions

As the school year comes to a close, we wanted to remind you how to log your volunteer hours in our new website:

Welcome to your Maple Village Volunteer Program. Thank you for your volunteer time. Your personal login will enable you to add volunteer hours, add a family member, or update your volunteer profile. Please submit time accordingly. Every time you submit volunteer time, an email will be sent to your Room Parent or Committee Chair. Thank you.

To begin, please visit: http://maplevillageschool-volunteers.com

You will be asked to login to the system with a username and password.

Username: Please use your eldest MVWS child’s first name and initial of their last name. For example: George Washington would be “georgew”. Uppercase/lowercase does not matter, and will still log you in.

Password: Please use your eldest MVWS child’s birthdate. For example, if your child’s birthdate is May, 10, 2008, your password would be 05102008. The password should be 8 digits long. (Do not use /)

To Add Volunteer Hours

  • Make sure you are logged in.
  • In the top right menu of the page, click on ‘Add Time’.
    1. Choose the Committee or Classroom that you performed volunteer work for.
    2. Choose a name from your account in the drop-down menu under ‘Who Performed the Task’. (If you need to add a name, please see the section below titled ‘Add a volunteer to my account’)
    3. Choose the date you performed the task
    4. Input the number of hours of work performed. You may use decimals to indicate portions of an hour (30 minute= 0.5; 15 minutes= 0.25)
    5. Type in the task performed. A brief description is all that is necessary
    6. Press ‘Submit’

  • Please note: Your total Hours Accumulated will display at the bottom of this form, as well as a log of registered hours.  Each family is expected to contribute 20 hours by the end of the school year.
