State of Our School Presentation
Thanks to everyone who came to our State of Our School presentation on April 25th. We had a good turnout and shared lots of information about what we have accomplished in the last year and where we want to go in the next year. If you were not able to attend, you can download a copy of the presentation below. And if you have any questions or comments you can always reach out to the Board of Trustees at: BoardOfTrustees@maplevillageschool.org.

SAVE THE DATE! Last Parent Village Meeting of the Year!

Monday, May 29th
6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
MVWS Social Hall

Enjoy free childcare (reservation required) while getting updated on what our fabulous MVWS committees have been up to. We’ll celebrate what we’ve accomplished, "10 years and growing," and brainstorm an excellent plan for the exciting events ahead. New Committee Chairs will also be discussed, so start thinking about whether you would like to step in! Let’s not forget how important it is to come together as a parent body and be an active part of what makes MVWS so beautiful for our children. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Your PV chair, Reggie. :)

Summer camp registration forms are available online HERE as well as in the office.  To register for summer baby & toddler classes, please email, call or stop by the office.

The 7th & 8th Grade Evergreen class had a wonderful field trip to Joann’s with our Handwork teachers, Ms. Oshiro (present teacher) and Ms. Cathrine (past teacher). We had fun choosing fabric for our final sewing project — pajama pants!

Parent Village

Hi Villagers - the Gala is quickly approaching and there is some incredible stuff up for grabs this year.  Here are a few things we want you to keep in mind (More info is available www.MVGala.org)

DESSERT is scarce - start planning with your table now

* People are already preparing to bid on the McCARTHY DINNER - this is going to be a fierce competition - see the attached sheet for more info and get ready to BID

* Credit Cards will be accepted this year for all purchases (bar tickets, auction items, etc.) but the school incurs a fee for every transaction so CASH or CHECK are always preferred (and cash tips for bartenders)

Gala Donations - we are still collecting GIFT CARDS, so if you own a business or frequent a local business and want to request a tax-deductible donation on our behalf please email me ASAP and I will gladly provide the forms

Gala Volunteers - anyone available for day-of set up and/or volunteer during the
event - please email me ASAP

with gratitude for all things Gala,
Andi

We are making it even easier for you to share your photos. You can upload your smart phone’s pictures directly to your class’s Shutterfly Site (or email to mvwsyearbook@gmail.com). Please remember to include basic information about the photo.
